Para No. 277 :

To implement Karnataka Research Development and Innovation policy, it is essential to formulate a strong, transparent administrative outlines and to supervise and evaluate. A new organization called Karnataka State Research Foundation (KSRF) will be constituted for this purpose.

 

Para No. 278:

Two regional Science Centres and four Sub-regional Science Centres will be upgraded at the cost of Rs. 50 lakh and Rs. 30 lakh each respectively. A grant of Rs. 2 crore will be provided for this in the current year.

 

Para No.279:

Research and Innovation is an outcome of interaction between industries, universities, research institutions and governments. To ensure synergy and seamless collaboration between the stakeholders an e-platform known as e-KRDIP will be constituted.

 

Para No: 280:

Rs. 5 crore will be provided for the identification, evaluation and commercialization of grass-root innovations developed by farmers, artisans, labourers, technicians and others to solve local problems.
